It all started with a conversation over coffee.
Sarah and Kissy both had worked in ministry and desired to see people break free from the stigma of struggling with sin.
They wanted to create a setting where they could broach topics that aren’t always discussed in a normal church service.
How can we walk worthy as it says in Colossians 1:10 if we don’t truly understand that it is in Christ alone that makes us worthy?
If we don’t understand God’s love and grace for us, then how can we truly walk in the freedom that comes from His love and grace?
After much prayer, planning, and envisioning what this movement could be, Worthy Movement went from an idea to a reality.
They took great steps of faith in 2018 and hosted Worthy Movement's very first conference not having any idea what to expect or even how big of a turnout it would be. But it completely exceeded their expectations. And they thought, ok, this is something that is needed for people today.
They created a team along the way, and four conferences and 2 years later Worthy Movement became and official non-profit.
We want to direct people to encounter Jesus. To receive the freedom from addictions, shame, sexual insecurities, depression, abuse, self-harm, and spiritual lows.
Our goal is to reach as many as we can to share that they are worth more, loved, and desired by the Creator God.
