MATTERS OF THE HEART

“Open your heart and consider my words. Watch out that you do not mistake your opinions for revelation-light.” -Luke 11:35

As our nation seems to be divided more than ever before, I am heartbroken over seeing my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ spew such hateful and judgmental words towards one another.

The ways of the world have captured the hearts of many hindering the absolute truth of God. Where “loving your neighbor,” “reconcile” and “forgiveness” are conditional. And conviction from our “Helper” is simply ignored.

I question the matter of our hearts right now...

Are we able to truly love each other in spite of our differences? Even our political differences?

Will it affect who we fellowship with?

Will we choose to respond to the Father and not react to the enemy?

The body of Christ cannot become divided during this time.

We need to align and fight for unity, and as the Church we must rise together above this test. We must continue to pray for wisdom and discernment. And condemnation from our lips (or keyboards) must end.

“Simply be confident and allow the Spirit of wisdom access your heart, and he will reveal in that very moment what you are to say to them.” -Luke 12:12

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat it’s fruits.” Proverbs 18:21

Let me remind you: You are a citizen of heaven!

You have an assignment you are called to complete. It is to expand the Kingdom of heaven. Surrender, trust and align yourself with the Kingdom of heaven. Because you are seated in heavenly places and assigned to release LOVE.

We need a heart check.

The most important duty of all is to walk in the love of God.

It is time to readjust the values and place first things first.

Allow the Lord to take hold of your heart right now. Will you allow HIM to shine HIS light in the deeper and darker places of your heart? I know for a fact that I have some places I need him to shine on!

My prayer:

As we stand in the midst of trials, let us remember that His yolk is easy and the burden is light. He is our good Shepherd guiding and leading us right where we need to be. May we submit our every will and way to Him. Allow us, God, to change our minds about how we see our problems. Help our hearts come into alignment with Heaven. Connect us and redirect us to keep our eyes fixed on you. You, God, are the provider of every tool we need. You will reveal the answers and provide the wisdom we need. May we stand together in unity, in love and forgiveness. We believe that you have the BEST for our lives. In Jesus name, Amen.
